Adopt Shiloh a Female Beagle mix

Rescued February 12, 2016
Approximate age: 2 to 3 years old
Activity Level: Moderate
Adult Size: Small (10 to 25 pounds)
Good with: Dogs Kids

Shiloh's eyes and demeanor make you think she is still a puppy, but she's really a young adult who craves human companionship. Shiloh was rescued from Effingham County Animal Control and does circles and dances on her back legs for attention. She rides well in a crate though she prefers to be where she can see you.

Special Medical Information:
Shiloh is heartworm positive. Her adoption includes six months of heartgard for her treatment.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Coastal Pet Rescue adopted pets are microchipped. New pet parents are responsible for keeping their information accurate and up-to-date through the registry's free online system. (Information is provided as part of the adoption pack.)

Adoption fees are $40 per feline and $150 per canine unless otherwise specified. Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
