Winter - Female DSH
Rescued December 23, 2015
When found by Coastal Pet Rescue, Winter and his litter-mates were between two and three weeks old. Some people thought he would end up blind; he overcame this hurdle to instead steal the hearts of the people at the shelter (and his foster family). Unlike some of the older cats on the list, he spent most of his life among humans (and other cats). This gave him a chance to adapt well to both while developing his own unique personality. In his charming and sassy nature, he embodies the better half of yuletide. His foster mother describes Winter in the following way: “He is the most loving and affectionate cat you will ever have in your life.” This is an accolade to be taken seriously.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
