Jen Welter

Jen Welter - Female American Staffordshire Terrier/Bulldog Mix

Rescued March 01, 2017
Approximate age: 2 years old (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Moderate
Adult Size: Medium (25 to 50 pounds)
Housebroken
Good with: Dogs Kids

Jen loves being in her foster home. She is a great dog who loves being by your side. Often referred to as 'Shadow' by her foster, Jen just wants to be wherever you are. She is however, content to just lay there with a toy. Be aware though her cuteness overwhelms you and when she casually drops her ball in your hand or lap you cannot resist throwing it to her. Jen is house trained and she is crate trained. Jen will go in her crate with no complaint when given the instruction and happily sleeps in it through the night. She loves going for walks and is great on a harness. Jen needs a home with a fenced in yard where she can run around and play fetch (her favorite game). A tennis ball is her best friend and should one be in sight she will find it. Jen is a sweet girl, who is still very much playful like a puppy, she can not wait to find her furever home.

Jen Welter was originally a puppy with us when she was rescued in 2015 at 4.5 weeks old. She was recently returned to us due to her family life changing.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
