Sweet Dee

Sweet Dee - Female Calico

Rescued April 07, 2016
Approximate age: 1 year old (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Low
Adult Size: Small (10 to 25 pounds)
Housebroken
Good with:

Sweet Dee and her three babies got their freedom ride to Coastal Pet Rescue from Chatham County Animal Control. Sweet Dee is so sweet, she even later took on a litter of three orphans from another animal control. As she got older, she got to where she enjoyed having a quieter environment to allow her to spend her time in self reflection rather than making feline friends. She is a great patio cat as she prefers to spend her days curled up in a comfy bed or resting by a sunny window.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. Some pets come to us already microchipped by other companies. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf (for AKC Reunite chips only).

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
