Cee Cee

Cee Cee - Female Chihuahua Mix

Rescued April 25, 2016
Approximate age: 2 to 3 years (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Low
Adult Size: X-Small (under 10 pounds)
Good with: Dogs

Cee Cee came to us last April from a hoarding situation, and it’s taken her some time to adjust to her new lifestyle. Having had to vie for attention with so many dogs, she can be a little snarky and try to intimidate you with all eight pounds of her being, but as long you let her know you’re not afraid of her, she’s fine.
Because Cee Cee does take some time to get to know you and adjust, she would do best in family with no small children (or grandchildren).
We’re not sure why, but Cee Cee prefers the company of women, and would make a great companion for someone with a low social schedule, who doesn’t do a lot of entertaining; that way she can be the center of your attention.
She is a sweet girl who will do best in a home with a lot of patience and love.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. Some pets come to us already microchipped by other companies. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf (for AKC Reunite chips only).

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
