Louis - Male DMH black

Rescued August 10, 2017
Approximate age: 3.5 weeks (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Moderate
Adult Size: X-Small (under 10 pounds)
Good with: Dogs Cats

Louis was brought to the local animal control as a stray to be put down as he refused to eat any food. But the Director of our rescue group knew just the person who could save him. When his new foster mom took him into her home Louis quickly regained his appetite and was ready to play with his new canine and feline foster siblings. Full of spunk, Louis is an affectionate kitten who will enjoy following you around your home to share some hugs and purrs. With his boyish energy Louis makes his foster mom think of bubble gum and fire trucks, toys that are suitable for little boys. During a recent "kitten hour" event at a local college, Louis became the darling of the show and freely shared his purrs and affection. What will be your story with Louis?

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. Some pets come to us already microchipped by other companies. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf (for AKC Reunite chips only).

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
