Jack - Male American Bulldog Mix
Rescued January 13, 2017
Jack is a little shy at first, but opens up very quickly. Jack is learning quickly on do's and don'ts. He is completely potty trained at this point but cannot be left in his crate for longer than 6-8 hours without making an accident here or there. He knows how to sit, lay down and stay. He understands his name and can be recalled. He likes his routines and learns quickly. He is very strong and a puller but we're still working on leash training, in time he'll be perfect. He loves to play with dogs more than humans, he hasn't quite figured it out yet. Having an older brother or sister would be beneficial for him to learn more things faster. He could also be an only dog as he loves all the attention. He is very food motivated and will need to continue with his training. He's so smart that he will test your limits. If you're a pushover, he will walk all over you.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
