Nola - Female Black Mouth Cur mix

Rescued February 01, 2017
Approximate age: 2 years old (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Low
Adult Size: Medium (25 to 50 pounds)
Good with: Dogs

Nola was found wandering a business parking lot showing obvious signs of having had puppies, but no puppies could be found during multiple searches. She was turned over to animal control and after her stray hold, rescued by CPR.

Update 4/10/17
Nola has been in foster care for more than a month. She is very sweet with her foster brothers and sisters. She is housebroken and crate trained. She is an all around happy girl. Nola listens well and is very smart.
As her foster mom I think that she is one of the easiest fosters I have ever had. She is a little bit protective of her home she will let you know if there is someone near the door but she calms down very quickly. She is happy to lay quietly and play with her toys or play with her foster brothers and sisters.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
