Blondie

Blondie - Female Yellow Labrador Retriever

Rescued March 29, 2017
Approximate age: 5 years old (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Moderate
Adult Size: Large (50 to 75 pounds)
Good with: Dogs Kids

Blondie came to us from a local animal control. She is a very loyal Golden retriever mix, however, it does seem that someone trained her for hunting at one point in her life. She may be adopted to a home with other labs or large breed dogs but cannot go where there are cats or smaller dogs, and we would advise against dog park visits. She is very gentle and affectionate with children and would be a great family pet.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
