Oreo - Male beagle mix

Rescued October 05, 2017
Approximate age: 9 years old (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Low
Adult Size: Medium (25 to 50 pounds)
Good with: Dogs Kids

Oreo was left behind at a shelter when his owner moved. CPR came in and saw just how special this man was. He is a distinguished gentleman who loves belly rubs and nap time. He does well with all other dogs and children. We asked him how he felt and here is what he said

My name is Oreo. I was very scared and confused when my family dropped me of at this place and left. But a few days later some nice ladies took me away from the shelter into some thing called "rescue" I don't know what that means but I like it here. I have had a few adventures and even got to model for a car dealership. While this place called rescue is amazing I would love a family that will keep me through my golden years. I promise to be your faithful companion.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. Some pets come to us already microchipped by other companies. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf (for AKC Reunite chips only).

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
