Phat Gurl

Phat Gurl - Female American Staffordshire terrier mix

Rescued November 03, 2017
Approximate age: 2 years (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Moderate
Adult Size: Medium (25 to 50 pounds)
Good with: Dogs
Heartworm Positive

Phat Gurl (She answers to Pretty Girl) was rescued from Animal Control as a stray with only hours to spare.
She loves people, and gives lots of kisses to the other dogs in the house. Pretty Girl follows the people all around the house waiting for pets and cuddles. She plays with the other dogs in her house and shares toys.
She will take treats with other dogs nearby, but is sometimes food protective with the other dogs. She is underweight, and hopefully will get better when she knows her food is always going to be there.
She is very interested and focused on the cat in the house; she may not be good with a house with cats.

You can follow her adventures on Instagram at #phatgurlrulestheworld

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. Some pets come to us already microchipped by other companies. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf (for AKC Reunite chips only).

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
