Bristol - Male American Bulldog Mix

Rescued February 05, 2018
Approximate age: 6 months old (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Moderate
Adult Size: Large (50 to 75 pounds)
Good with: Dogs Cats

Bristol is a wonderfully sweet, cuddly puppy. He is currently 5-6 months old, loves playing with his foster dog siblings, and tries to play with the cat in the house. We are still working on potty training, he does love to play with toys, and will try to chew on shoes if they are left out. He wants to make his person happy, but worries about being hit when he misbehaves. His foster mom believes he is going to be a big dog when grown; at least 80#. He is hard to photograph by himself because he wants to be so close to you, or comes to you if he notices you trying to take a photo.

You can see more of his adventures on Instagram at #thebristolgent

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. Some pets come to us already microchipped by other companies. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf (for AKC Reunite chips only).

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
