Coastal Pet Rescue Celebrates 500th Rescue of 2015

(Savannah, GA) - December 16, 2015

To say 2015 has been a year of records is an understatement for Coastal Pet Rescue.

On Tuesday, December 15, Coastal Pet Rescue showed up to Bryan County Animal Control in Richmond Hill to help empty their shelter before the holidays, rescuing seven kittens and cats and two dogs. The holiday rescue spree brings the group’s total rescued pets for the year to 503, far surpassing its 2014 numbers of 263.

In an effort to help get some felines adopted that have been in residence awhile, Coastal Pet Rescue is offering daily adoption specials of $12 for the featured 12 Days of Catmas through Christmas.

Adoptable pets are listed online at http://coastalpetrescue.org/adopt .

Donations are still needed to help towards veterinary and other care expenses. Donations are accepted online at http://coastalpetrescue.org/donate or by mail to PO Box 30462, Savannah, GA 31410.
