Coastal Pet Rescue to send team to annual Animal Care Expo this May

(Savannah, GA) - March 24, 2014

(Savannah, GA) - It’s never too late to teach an old dog new tricks, and that goes same for the leadership of animal welfare agencies.

This May, Coastal Pet Rescue will send four members of its team to the annual Animal Care Expo in Daytona Beach, FL: Lisa Scarbrough, founder/director; Melissa Kendrick, special projects & donor relations coordinator; Cheryl Garland, adoptions processor & digital creatives manager; and Lydia Wright, foster mom. The team will attend workshops presented by animal welfare professionals from around the country over four days. This will be the first time since 2008 that the event has been close enough to afford to attend.

In order to meet conference expenses, Coastal Pet Rescue is looking for some community support. Special edition T-shirts are being sold through its website and sponsorship opportunities are being offered to local businesses.
