Pet Rescue Founder Selected for International Scholar Laureate Program

(Savannah, GA) - December 14, 2015

Coastal Pet Rescue founder Lisa Scarbrough has been selected for the 2016 International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) Delegation on Business & Entrepreneurship, being held in Australia. Scarbrough, who will graduate this December from graduate school with Kent State University, was selected for this honor by Golden Key Honor Society based upon exemplary academic performance.

ISLP takes students to Australia and China, giving them special access to businesses and universities, lectures by top businesspeople, engaging activities, group discussions and immersion in the local culture. ISLP was developed by experienced educators over 25 years ago to educate, motivate, and inspire accomplished students through interactive, experiential and engaging programs, and encourage them to reach ever higher and achieve more in their lives and careers.

Scarbrough will travel to Australia next May for the eight day program. Upon completion, she will spend an extra three days with Maggie’s Rescue in Sydney, participating in their pet rescue activities in an effort to bring new ideas back to her rescue in Savannah.
