Thanks to a tip on the Little Free Library stewards’ page, I discovered that free bookmarks are available for order, even with free shipping. If you’re a steward and want to get your hands on, check out these handy links:
- Corporation for National & Community Service
- Federal Trade Commission
- EPA – This one is a bit more tricky. You have to first do a search from this page (using the term bookmark) and then follow the steps from this page to place your order. (only the items with the USPS logo next to them can be shipped)
- WIC – When you submit the form, there is an error message. I’m waiting to see if I get an email confirmation. There is a form you can send manually.
- American Society of Plant Biologists – requires s&h
On my own, I discovered the following options as well:
- National Bullying Prevention Center – does charge s&h
- Healthy Woman Diabetes – Available for free but do charge shipping, handling and processing fees for orders of 3+ publications. Online orders are limited to a maximum quantity of 500.
- Maine Teen Suicide Prevention – bulk orders must be submitted by phone or email.
- National Institute on Aging
- TG College Financial Literacy
- St. Nicholas Center – Up to 100 free but does charge s&h
- University of Wisconsin Sea Grant Institute – free but does charge s&h
- US Department of Education
- Your Legal Rights (Canada)
- Minnesota Department of Agriculture – does say free for teachers, but it wouldn’t hurt to submit the form and see
- Skyenimals
- Constitution – sent an email to find if quantities still available.
- World Bible Society – have emailed to see if they offer in bulk.
- Minnesota Book Awards Winners
- Transformation Garden
- Energy for Me – up to 24 free
- Saltwater Taffy – charges $5 s&h
- Jumping the Candlestick
- Jennifer Estep (author) – requires s&h
- The A&P Professor
- Ask a Librarian – will see if my order goes through since it is meant for schools.
