Santa's Little Orphans Supply Drive

How You Can Help

Do you have room in your home and heart to help a deserving pet in need? Maybe you do, but if you don't, you can still make a difference for them this holiday season. Stop by any of our participating sponsors to adopt some of our pets for the holidays. Each sponsor is hosting a Santa's Little Orphans Supply Drive with supply lists and drop off boxes. Grab a list, take it with you when you are doing your holiday shopping and drop the items back to the sponsoring location. Items will be collected throughout the Home 4 the Holidays campaign and delivered to foster homes.

Get Children Involved

If a child in your home just adores pets, let them get involved in the fun. Give them a shoebox to decorate. They can write a card to their "adopted" pet and pack gifts into the shoebox. This is a great positive experience for children to see that they can have an impact on an animal's life.

Suggested Items to Donate

General Pet Needs:

  • Canned food for adult dogs and cats, kittens and puppies. Dry food for puppies and kittens.
  • Ham bones for dogs (not made in China)
  • Toys for canines and felines (no easily chewed plastic or tennis balls please)
  • Clumping cat litter
  • Puppy pads
  • Small dog collars (no cat collars please)
  • Leashes (all sizes)
  • Gift cards to pet retail stores, Walmart, Office Max, Home Depot and Amazon
  • Twin-size bedding (sheets and blankets) and baby blankets
  • Pet food storage containers
  • Paper towels
  • 33 gallon trash bags
  • Clorox wipes
  • Paper towels
  • Gallon and quart size zip lock bags

Contact Lisa Scarbrough to sign up. There is no cost, and a CPR volunteer will deliver a donation jar and collection box to you. Items are collected bi-weekly.
