Update: July 3, 2008

When we got CJ (Echo) home, we realized how much she reminded us of Cocoa, our 14 year old little girl that we lost 1 year ago. So, my husband decided he wanted to call her CJ (a.k.a. Cocoa, Jr.). With that being said, she is a bundle of joy, and has won the hearts of both her new brother, Chancey-boy, 13 years old (lab/beagle mix-black), and Blondie, 3 years old, (yellow labrador). Every trip outside for Blondie and CJ seems to be like a safari expedition--they both spend hours visiting, and revisiting every corner of the backyard, as though, it were a jungle with something to discover. They have become fast pals, and love to romp and run together. Chancey-boy and CJ have a very mature understanding--CJ acknowledges Chancey-boy's mature status in the pack, and shows respect for his aged, fragile little body.

Well, as for the human part of the household, we are in love with this little girl. She is a joy and quite entertaining--she has brought life back to our household, and we truly feel blessed that you allowed us to adopt this precious, little girl. All I can say is that we are grateful to Coastal Pet Rescue for giving us this wonderful opportunity to make CJ (Echo) part of our family. We look forward to many years of love and fun with her.

Again, thank you for everything--she is truly a blessing.
