Coastal Pet Rescue Successful Adoption Story: Libby

Adopted: August 5, 2004
Rescued: December 20, 2001

Libby came to us as a stray who had 4 older kittens and ended up having another litter on us. She spent several years in our rescue, with no applications on her and going through 3 foster homes.

Update August 13 2004
Libby

Libby is doing great! She is blending well with the family and taken up her own spot in the bed at night. She goes to the vet next month for her annual physical and shots. We will keep you posted. Thanks. -- Marilyn 10/17/05 Update Attached above is a cute picture of Libby. She had her annual checkup a couple of weeks ago and weighs almost 13 pounds and is in excellent health. Thank you for finding her for us. The picture below found her napping in the sun. I don’t know what she was dreaming, but she looks a lot more vicious than she is.

Update 8/4/06 I have been very impressed with Coastal Pet Rescue, Lisa Scarborough and her staff since I first saw Libby's picture in the paper about 2 years ago. The investigation into our adopting Libby was thorough and Libby has been a constant, healthy joy to us since we adopted her. Coastal Pet Rescue employees continue to show that they care and check in on Libby from time to time for which I appreciate. Congratulations to you all. I continue to read about your efforts and awards. Keep up the good work!
