Update July 28 2007
Maya (Catalina) We found Maya's picture on petfinder.com, and decided to put in an application. Five minutes later Lisa called us and set up a home visit for the following afternoon. We were so excited to meet her in person. When she came over, she was so small and sweet and curious. She was a little nervous at first, but she warmed up very quickly. Lisa left her with us that afternoon, and our lives have been forever bettered by her addition. Maya has proven to be a very fast learner. She loves to play in our yard, chew on her toys, and snuggle with us in bed. When we come home, Eric and I compete to see who gets to greet her first. We love the way Maya's whole body wiggles when she wags her tail in excitement. Sometimes she whimpers until we bend down and she can lick our face. Having Maya in our lives has been so rewarding. Everyday we're excited to play with her and take walks with her. She loves to run around the park and play with other dogs and people. We're looking forward to another addition in the future...Thank you Coastal Pet Rescue for bringing us the best puppy possible! - Kate & Eric
