Sam is really settling in. He and our cat play every day! The cat really antagonizes him but he holds his own. Andrew did a great job with him because he is already learning the sit, down and stay commands. We can't keep the collar on him - he manages to get it off every time we put him outside while we are at work but we haven't noticed him licking at all so I think he is safe. I have noticed that he obviously has had some past negative experiences with crrates because we were going to try to get him to sleep in the one we already have and he freaked out each time we tried to get him near it. So, he just sleeps on his bed on the floor next to us and he does fine. We think he is a great pup and he will do very well once we get him trained and the puppy in him settles down.
