Coastal Pet Rescue Successful Adoption Story: Sammy

Sammy (Scrap) and Pops were taken from a home after their owner was arrested for cocaine distribution. Pops, being 8 weeks old, was adopted quickly. Sammy, however, had to go into boarding until a foster home could be found. A new volunteer applied to be a foster parent, and she instantly fell in love with Scrap, but decided she would wait to see if he got adopted. A couple months later, she made him a permanent part of the family.

Hi Lisa, I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know about sammy. He is doing great, such an awesome dog! He is definitley the class clown at our training classes and he loves to be the center of attention. He walks pretty well on the leash now and he loves to go running with me. I just wanted to say thanks for bringing such a great addition to our family. -- Jennifer
