Coastal Pet Rescue Successful Adoption Story: SNEZHANA (Cinderella)

Adopted: July 4, 2007
Rescued: May 4, 2007

In typical Disney style, these pups did not have a great beginning. But they are looking to you for a fairy tale family life. These are Airleah's seven puppies. They were given up with their mom as their owner was deploying for service in Iraq. Mom is a purebreed Siberian Husky; Dad was a purebreed Black Labrador Retriever.

Update July 6 2007
Things are going great.
She such a good girl. Just wanted to sleep yesterday. But today she is quite active after a full nights sleep--right thru the night--thankyou thankyou.

She's met all the cats and well they told her in no uncertain terms what she was supposed to do!--each is their own way. She is quite shy but we got her to run around the back yard this morn. We love her, she's a sweetheart.

She seems to get the hiccups frequently??!
We have renamed her, after a long discussion... Her new name is SNEZHANA (Hana for short). Its a word that means 'snow woman' in Russian/Siberian. We wanted to give her that Siberian Husky flavor--nordic dog and all! Snezhana also incorporates the Labrador in her--since the Labrador Sea is in the nordic part of the world too.
We are all adapting to this new member of our family although you'd hardly know there was a puppy in the house.

Thanks for taking care of her.
