Coastal Pet Rescue Successful Adoption Story: Sonny

Rescued: July 20, 2005

Sonny was found as a stray. A good samaritan took him to the vet and got him cleaned up and turned him over to Coastal Pet Rescue where he underwent neutering and heartworm treatment.

Sonny "I had recently tried to adopt a dog from a local pound and had an awful experience. When I brought the dog home I soon found out that his temperment would cause an unsafe environment for my twin neices (this is putting the situation mildly). When I returned the dog, not only did I get the 3rd degree but they [the pound] made me feel as if I was the one to blame for the unsuccessful match. I was scared to even try and adopt another dog, but fortunately that is when someone told me about Coastal Pet Rescue. If it wasn't for Coastal Pet Rescue I probably would still be without my new best friend. They were great! They helped to pair myself up with the perfect dog for my specific situation. They even made sure that I understood that if for any reason it didn't work out that all I had to do is bring him back...no questions asked.
