Update March 14 2007
Wolfgang

Wolfgang and his siblings were rescued on a porch of an abandoned house. Coastal Pet Rescue offered to find homes for the mother and her babies. Our family were fortunately enough to adopt Wolfgang and watch him grow.

Wolfgang especially loves to play with his brothers -- both human and dog! Wolfgang is such an 'old soul', loves to give kisses and keeps his younger dog brother organized. He leads the pack and directs the traffic to make sure the routines are followed. Wolfgang loves to survey his kingdom and make sure everthing is in order.

Coastal Pet Rescue's response time has always been amazing from the first time we made contact. Our contact at Coastal Pet Rescue really cares for all the animals she fosters. It is a labor of love. She made sure that Wolfgang found a good home. She stayed in touch to make sure that Wolfgang settled in nicely and her commitment to the dogs under her care is amazing.

In September, 2005 our daughter summarized our relationship with Wolfgang in a school assignment for 2nd Grade: "When my old dog died, we were so sad that every time I thought about him I would cry. So mom said we would look for another dog. But it took a long time to find another dog. Finally we got Wolfie. Now he licks me forever! THE END."
