Sophie is a very sweet brindle mix who has been living outside a county warehouse. The warehouse folks were very good about making sure she had plenty of food, water, and human companionship, but when they realized that she was pregnant, they knew she needed more help and contacted Coastal Pet Rescue.
Sophie is enjoying a wonderful foster home and is due to have her babies in a week or two. Sophie has tested positive for heartworms and will begin treatment as soon as her puppies are weened. She is housetrained and a wonderful easy going dog.
Coastal Pet Rescue is gratefully accepting donations toward her heartworm treatment.
