Sissy

Sissy - Female Tabby

Rescued November 21, 2015
Approximate age: 5 months old at time of rescue (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Moderate
Adult Size: Small (10 to 25 pounds)
Housebroken
Good with: Cats

For a multiple cat family, you must look no further than Sissy! As long as introductions are made slowly, she adapts well to a big family of feline siblings. Balancing perfectly between high energy and couch potato, she gives the moderately-active owner something to look forward to. She would appreciate open-space to run and enough toys to keep her attention day after day; things that might not be provided by a tiny apartment. Listening to her charming chirps and meows could knock any new owner off their feet.

While she is not keen on being picked up, therefore not a good fit for small children, Sissy can be described as a lap cat. She approaches on her own terms and displays that charming feline independence known to all cat lovers. Patience (and head rubs) wins her over. Sissy will grow to hold a place in your heart that goes far beyond her small size. Sissy doesn't seem to like dogs very much.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
