Gianna

Gianna - Female Boxer Mix

Rescued August 06, 2023
Approximate age: 2 Years (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Moderate
Adult Size: Medium (25 to 50 pounds)
Housebroken
Good with:

After being abandoned on a country road, the emaciated Gianna and her four puppies were fortunate to have been found and brought to the safety of Coastal Pet Rescue.
Gianna is a wonderfully friendly and playful two-year old Boxer mix who wants everyone to love her and to love everyone in return.
She has a grand time playing with her doggie foster siblings but her most favorite thing is playing fetch. Anything you throw for her, she will chase - although she won't always bring it back to you. A secure yard is a must for this gem of a girl so she doesn't go chasing out of her boundaries.
Gianna is housebroken, knows how to use a doggie door and and the commands "sit" and "shake." She waits patiently for treats but is learning not to wolf her meals down (sadly; something that stray dogs have to learn).
She would love to have a doggie playmate in her new home but can entertain herself playing inside and outside with her toys. She seems a bit too interested in cats although she has not officially met one, so a slow introduction while on a leash (or no feline friends) is recommended.
If Gianna sounds like the perfect fit for you, submit an application today and let's see if we have a match.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. Some pets come to us already microchipped by other companies. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf (for AKC Reunite chips only).

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
