Kujo

Kujo - Male Lab/Mastiff Mix

Rescued December 21, 2023
Approximate age: 6 Years (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Moderate
Adult Size: X-Large (75 pounds and over)
Good with:

Kujo walked himself in to our shelter one day and found his foster right away. At the time, he had a fatty tumor on his eyelid that was affecting his vision. That has been removed. He was also a very unhealthy 127lbs that is being addressed with diet and exercise. Kujo is an active strong dog who needs a handler with some strength to walk him. Kujo gets along well with most dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. Some pets come to us already microchipped by other companies. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf (for AKC Reunite chips only).

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
