Hamlet

Hamlet - Male Hound/Labrador Mix

Rescued April 01, 2024
Approximate age: 8-9 weeks (at time of rescue)
Activity Level: Moderate
Adult Size: Large (50 to 75 pounds)
Good with:

Hamlet is certainly the prince in his foster home, and it's more like a comedy than a drama (although he does like to create some drama with his littermates). Hamlet is one of those pups who is everywhere all at once. First to the food bowl, first to demand to be picked up , first to start the zoomies and the puppy tussles and first to go back in the pen to claim a place in the dog bed - he's a born leader! We expect Hamlet to be a medium to large dog when fully grown. He loves to play with his toys and loves to leap at his foster mom for attention! If you are looking for an active, loving puppy, Hamlet is your man!

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. Some pets come to us already microchipped by other companies. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf (for AKC Reunite chips only).

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
