Rich - Male Wire Hair Terrier MixRescued November 26, 2024
Look at that face! Sweet little Rich has had some hard knocks in his young life - when he came to rescue he was severely flea-infested and had patchy hair and skin. Now that he has had some good food, some meds and a ton of affection, he is on the right track to be a handsome young man with an expressive, almost human face! His coat is growing back quickly now. Our volunteers have been working with him on his leash walking and he loves to play with his dog friends at the rescue. Rich is still a puppy and is a playful little imp! He needs some training on manners and house habits, but would make a great little dog for any one who wants to devote a little time to him. |

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).
Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. Some pets come to us already microchipped by other companies. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf (for AKC Reunite chips only).
Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
