Meet Rocco – a 9-month-old, 50-pound lab mix with a heart as big as he is! Rocco is a playful, energetic guy who absolutely loves interacting with other dogs. He’s not shy about showing it, either—he’ll bark or whine to get other pups to play, and sometimes gets right in their space to make sure the fun happens. His enthusiasm is contagious, though, and he’s always up for a good romp!

Rocco is a food-driven superstar, which makes training a breeze. He’s incredibly smart and already knows several commands like sit, down, place, come, and stay. He’s also recall-trained, which means he listens when called, even if there’s a squirrel nearby. Because of his food motivation, Rocco is eager to please, though he’ll need a little supervision around food if other dogs are around—he’s quick to grab a bite when he can!

House-trained and crate-trained, Rocco is a good boy inside the house and will be a perfect addition to a home looking for a clever, fun, and active companion. Whether it's playtime or learning a new trick, Rocco is all in!

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. Some pets come to us already microchipped by other companies. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf (for AKC Reunite chips only).

Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
