United Way Volunteer Luncheon

Two groups of people who were of exceptional value to Coastal Pet Rescue in 2004 were nominated for the United Way's Volunteer of the Year award. Jason Schwartz, Donna Williford, and Mandy Ownley came onboard as officers, not knowing fully just what they might get themselves into. They took on a number of challenges and found ways to help advance our cause. Tim and Diana Knight became volunteers after we helped them place a litter of puppies they found in a dumpster. Since then, they have never missed one of our events, have served as puppy fosters twice, and are always sending us moral support. So, to these five individuals, thank you for all you've done for Coastal Pet Rescue.
Nominees were invited to attend a recognition luncheon by the United Way at Savannah Station.
