2004 Cruise for Critters Fundraiser to Benefit Coastal Pet Rescue

(Savannah, GA) - June 02, 2004

“This cruise will be a great opportunity for animal lovers to gather together for an afternoon of fun to raise money for very deserving, homeless pets,” says Lisa Scarbrough, Coastal Pet Rescue president.

The September 12th cruise, sponsored by Capt. Mike’s Dolphin Tours, will be a four-hour sightseeing tour departing from Tybee Island at 2 pm. The cost of the cruise is $30 per person, and includes Hors D’oeuvres, punch and a commemorative T-shirt. All funds go directly to Coastal Pet Rescue to be used for veterinary care and spays and neuters.

Registration is required in advance as seats are limited. The cruise is open to all adults (sorry, no pets). Registration and further information is available online at http://www.coastalpetrescue.org.

Founded in February 2003, Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected animals in the coastal areas of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.
