Annual Wag-O-Ween to Benefit Coastal Pet Rescue

(Savannah, GA) - October 13, 2008

Dress up your pups and let their tails wag for the annual ST ALMO Wag-O-Ween!

On Saturday, October 25, take your pooch trick-or-treating at more than that 40 downtown businesses. Maps are $5 and are available from 12 to 5 pm at Canine Palace or Universal Trading. All proceeds go to benefit Coastal Pet Rescue.

Want to remember how cute your pup is in his costume? Southern Images Photography will be at Canine Palace from 12 to 5 to take your photos. A $10 donation to Coastal Pet Rescue includes online ordering and a free 4x6 photo.

Savannah True Animal Lovers Meeting Others (ST ALMO) is a social organization for people who love animals. The group holds dog friendly walks, picnics and restaurant gatherings throughout Savannah. ST ALMO has raised several thousand dollars to help local rescue groups in its four years of existence.

Coastal Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected dogs and cats in Savannah and surrounding areas. Founded in February 2003, Coastal Pet Rescue changes the lives of homeless pets in Chatham, Bryan and Effingham Counties through its foster home program and small capacity shelter, Camp Pawsawhile Retreat.
