Celebrate International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day and Help Homeless

(Savannah, GA) - February 14, 2006

Dog biscuits aren’t just tasty, but they can help change a life.

As part of International Dog Biscuit Appreciate Day February 23, Winston’s Barkery will donate 10% of all dog biscuit sales that week (February 20-25) to Coastal Pet Rescue.

“I’ve been a sponsor of Coastal Pet Rescue for two years, and even adopted my Collie mix from them last year,” says Tara Chavanne, owner of Winston’s Barkery. “I appreciate the care and dedication the volunteers provide to pets like my Willow.”

Dog owners may stop by Winston’s Barkery in center court of Oglethorpe Mall to purchase tasty treats in a variety of flavors for their dogs.

Founded in February 2003, Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected animals in the coastal areas of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.
