Coastal Pet Rescue Announces Three-Day Anniversary Adoption Event

(Savannah, GA) - January 19, 2007

Coastal Pet Rescue invites the public to a three-day adoption event for its fourth anniversary this February.

“It’s a weekend of celebration for all the lives we’ve changed,” says president and founder Lisa Scarbrough. “We want the community to come help us give more pets more birthdays.”

The three-day adoption, fundraising and volunteer recruitment event will take place at the Lowcountry Home and Garden Show at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center February 2 through 4.

Coastal Pet Rescue will have pets for adoption, a marketplace of pet-theme items for sale, birthday hats for guests, and much more. Persons interested in becoming a foster parent or volunteer may discuss opportunities with current volunteers and officers.

Coastal Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected dogs and cats in Savannah and surrounding areas. Founded in February 2003, Coastal Pet Rescue changes the lives of homeless pets in Chatham, Bryan and Effingham Counties through its foster home program and small capacity shelter, Camp Pawsawhile Retreat.
