Coastal Pet Rescue Celebrates Black Cat Month this July

(Savannah, GA) - June 29, 2009

Coastal Pet Rescue is taking a cue from Cat Galaxy Radio and touting July as Black Cat Month.

“All too often, black cats are overlooked for adoption,” says Coastal Pet Rescue president Lisa Scarbrough. “People are superstitious of black cats, or don’t see anything distinguishing about their features that attracts them.”

In addition to the organizations three black felines, Bug Bug, Rhett and Macavity, Coastal Pet Rescue has several black and white, tuxedo, and gray kittens available for adoption.

Adoption fees for felines are $80 and include current shots, spay/neuter, and microchip.

All felines are currently in foster homes.

Appointments may be made to visit them by completing an adoption application online at http://www.coastalpetrescue.org or calling 912.228.3538
