Coastal Pet Rescue Launches New Website

(Savannah, GA) - February 25, 2007

Four years in the making, Coastal Pet Rescue launched CoastalPetRescue.org V.4.0 on Friday, February 23.

“We’ve had a lot of visitors in the last four years,” says president and founder Lisa Scarbrough. “We took the feedback from visitors, volunteers and adopters and made the site more user-friendly.”

Aside from it’s design facelift, visitors may now more easily access pets for adoption, view information about upcoming events, and post lost and found pets. Additionally, those looking to volunteer or make a donation will find options immediately on the home page.

“Our goal with V.4.0 is to increase adoptions, volunteer recruitment, and donations,” says Scarbrough.

Hosted by eMarketSouth, the site attracts nearly 3,500 visitors a day.

Coastal Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected dogs and cats in Savannah and surrounding areas. Founded in February 2003, Coastal Pet Rescue changes the lives of homeless pets in Chatham, Bryan and Effingham Counties through its foster home program and small capacity shelter, Camp Pawsawhile Retreat.
