Coastal Pet Rescue’s Final Microchip Clinics for 2007

(Savannah, GA) - November 27, 2007

Are your pets ready for holiday travel?

It’s the busiest travel time of year. Make sure your pets have permanent identification in the event that they become separated from you during your travels.

Coastal Pet Rescue will offer low-cost microchipping clinics on December 4 and December 8. The cost is $10 per pet, and all pets must be on a leash or in a carrier and have proof of current rabies vaccination.

The clinic December 4 will take place at Oglethorpe Mall (Pepino’s Entrance) from 6 to 8 pm. While you’re there, have your pet’s portrait taken with Santa. Make a donation to Coastal Pet Rescue and receive a coupon for $2 off portrait packages.

The December 8 clinic will take place at Savannah Toyota on Abercorn from 3 to 7 pm. Coastal Pet Rescue will also have adoptable pets on site for families looking to make an addition this holiday.

Microchips are 24PetWatch chips and can be read by any scanner at animal control facilities, veterinary clinics, and animal rescues and shelters.

The events are part of Coastal Pet Rescue’s annual Home 4 the Holidays campaign. For more information, visit http://www.CoastalPetRescue.org or call 912.351.4151.
