(Savannah, GA) - May 03, 2005

Girl Scouts in Bloomingdale are looking to help their four-legged friends this weekend.

On Saturday, May 7th, Troop 519 will hold a Kids Pet Show from 4 to 6 PM at the Alpha Methodist Church at the corner of Hwy 80 and Church St. in Bloomingdale. Admission to the event is one pet item (food, leash, toy, etc.). The troop will be selling Polaroid photos of owners and pets as well as dog and cat treats that the girls baked last week. Other activities include a “Do It Yourself” pet bathing area and pet contests. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit Coastal Pet Rescue.
