Savannah Sand Gnats Game to Benefit Coastal Pet Rescue

(Savannah, GA) - June 06, 2008

This summer, the Savannah Sand Gnats are looking to hit some homeruns for homeless pets.

Thursday, June 26th will be Coastal Pet Rescue night at Grayson Stadium.

To celebrate the work of Coastal Pet Rescue volunteers, a real dog will catch the first pitch and the group “the Girlfriends” will sing the National Anthem.

Coastal Pet Rescue will also showcase a few dogs looking for new families.

Persons interested in attending the Thirsty Thursday game may purchase tickets in advance through Coastal Pet Rescue with 50% of the proceeds benefitting the organization. Tickets are on sale now through store.coastalpetrescue.org or by calling 912-228-3538.
