(Savannah, GA) - August 10, 2011

(Tybee Island, GA) - With the hot temperatures, what could be better that floating down the river with a few hundred of your closest friends?

The last Tybee Floatilla of the year will take place Sunday, September 25th at Alley III on Tybee. The $20 registration fee will go to Coastal Pet Rescue and is limited to 500 floaters.

“The Floatillas have been a lot of fun, and I’m really happy to have the funds go to worthy causes,” says organizer Brian Stafford.

Previous Floatillas have benefitted The Ronald McDonald House, Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals, Tybee Marine Rescue Squadron, Baby Liam, J.C. Lewis Cancer Pavillion, and the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Sponsorships are still available and T-shirts will be sold for $10 to raise additional funds.
